SMART 51L Dual-Sided Card Printer with Lamination and Ethernet

The SMART 51L is the latest direct-to-card printer from IDP®, a leader in affordable and professional card-printing solutions. This is a great dual-sided card printer for medium-sized badging operations and for projects like printing student ID cards, employee badges for small offices and more. As a bonus, the 51L also offers single- or dual-sided lamination to create long-lasting cards.

Taking the place of the trusty SMART 50L, the 51L improves on its predecessor in every way. The SMART 51L uses dye sublimation printing to print edge-to-edge images and text at a crisp resolution of 300 dpi for a professional look. IDP's FINE™ Imaging Technology guarantees a quality imprint, time after time.

The SMART 51L offers print speeds of up to 720 monochrome cards per hour, 212 YMCKO cards per hour and 164 dual-sided YMCKOK cards per hour, allowing you to breeze through most badging operations. An input hopper of up to 200 cards allows you to "set it and forget," saving time and hassle.

Lamination makes the model best-in-class, and IDP has done it again with their Patented Direct Lamination™ technology. The laminating module heats up in just 8 seconds and laminates the card as it's printed, saving time.

Holographic laminate ribbons are available as well, for those seeking a little extra protection against counterfeiting.

This SKU is base Ethernet model of the SMART 51L. This model offers dual-sided printing, single- or dual-sided lamination and Ethernet connectivity for networked use in card printing offices.
