WhosOnLocation, already a provider of easy-to-use web-based Visitor Management, makes evacuation management simple with WolEvac, a newly released feature available with all WhosOnLocation plans.
WolEvac is designed to make it easy and quick to verify the safety of your personnel in the event of an emergency. In the event of an emergency, a safety warden or evacuation marshal can open the app after getting to safety. He or she will then create an "evacuation event," which will generate a list of all personnel who were signed-in on-site prior to the evacuation.
The warden or marshal can then perform a roll call, marking personnel as "VERIFIED" once they're confirmed to be safe. This allows organizations to quickly verify the safety of personnel and provides vital information to first responders, helping them know where to look for missing people.
In the event that your site has hundreds or thousands of employees, making a manual roll call cumbersome, WolEvac is able to send a text message to signed-in personnel asking if they are safe. If a user responds with the word "SAFE," he or she will be automatically marked as "VERIFIED" in WolEvac, making it easy to verify the safety of hundreds of people in just minutes.
After an event has been safely closed, an administrator can log into the WhosOnLocation dashboard to view an event summary. This summary shows a number of details about the event, including the number of people verified as "SAFE," the date and time, the length of the event and more. This provides important data regarding evacuations and can help an organization improve their evacuation processes.
