    Product Description

Please note: JetPak cards require a laminating pouch to create a fully finished ID card. For this JetPak insert, we recommend laminating pouch F85-52VSDWP.

Upgrade your ID card program by switching from PVC to JetPak™ ID cards!

Available only from IDenticard™, JetPak cards offer more durability and more security than standard PVC cards, upgrading your ID program in every way that matters.

These dual-core JetPak inserts are data collection size, measuring 2.313" x 3.25". They feature a vertical slot, making them only suitable for vertical ID card designs. Dual-core JetPak inserts ship one card per sheet, allowing both sides of the card to be printed in a single pass.

What is the difference between single-core and dual-core?

You'll see our JetPaks described as "single-core" and "dual-core." These "cores" don't refer to sides, but rather to the thickness of the card itself.

    • Single-core JetPak cards are made of a single layer of synthetic paper material. When combined with a 7/3 laminating pouch, the finished card will be 30 mils thick. We recommend these cards for customers that only want factory printing on one side of the card, with variable data printed on the other.
    • Dual-core JetPak cards are made of two layers of synthetic paper material. When combined with a 5/2 laminating pouch, the finished card will be 34 mils thick. The template for these cards can be configured to allow you to print both sides of the card in a single pass, saving time.

JetPak: It’s all in the material

The key difference between JetPak cards and PVC cards is material. JetPak cards are made of a synthetic paper material that is microporous. This microporous material absorbs ink, meaning JetPak cards can be customized using a standard inkjet printer.

Yup, that’s right: you can create a custom ID card with that same printer that you currently have somewhere in your office. We recommend Epson® inkjet printers due to their DURABrite® inks, which consistently produce high-quality, vivid imagery.

The synthetic paper material is also more durable than PVC, resisting bending, cracking and fading for a more durable solution. Simply print the insert, pop it out of the pre-cut paper, put it in the laminating pouch and laminate for a durable ID card!

JetPak: The most secure ID card available

One of the best features of the JetPak card is how secure we can make it. There are nearly a dozen different security features we can add to a JetPak card, from text so small it’s nearly invisible to the naked eye to text that only appears under certain kinds of light, we’ve got your security needs covered.

There’s a reason JetPak has become the ID card of choice for government and law enforcement agencies around the country: there’s no card more secure.

We can create custom ID cards for you!

IDenticard is able to create customized JetPak inserts, leaving just the user photo and data to be printed on-site. We can print JetPak inserts with your organization’s colors, logo, text and more. Please contact us if you’re interested in custom JetPak cards.
