Got these for our employees and the badges themselves are awesome, the badges themselves fit great, but one huuuuuge issue was that the metal part blocks too much. It is great for badges/cards that are not used for entry access, but if you need to scan in, the metal part won't let you do it, which is the whole reason we got these badges. The quality is good, but not for spaces that require card entry.
The printer is working great. Easy to setup. For direct printing onto cards, it is pretty fast. Not sure if we will ever need it, but like the thought that we can add other encoding modules in the future.
Had to get different software as the old software we had would not encode the magstripe on the back of the cards. Not a printer issue, but old software issue.
